A great start from England last night with a great goal from Harry Macguire , the lad is only 28 years old so Roy Keane should get a life, a bit of passion which did not go over the top is what most of us are looking for. Great to see Harry Kane get his hat trick and a well worked goal from Jordan Henderson finished the night off in style.
Let’s be honest , Albania are not a bad side and they did give us a few worrying moments early on , but football at this level is about fine margins and they were just not as clinical and ruthless as England on the night.
Gareth Southgate , rumours about extending his contract , I would say a good move, to get long term success in football you need a long term manager and I can’t see any other serious contenders for the job. Perhaps I will let you know what I think about the matter after monday, you only get judged on your last match, don’t you?
I think that England will be professional against San Marino and not slip up against a side that has been pointless so far. Can we win the world cup? I don’t see why not.
