Boris banned parties last Christmas but says fill your boots up this year. North Shropshire have their chance to vote and they do so quite dramatically. Covid 19 has become extremely easy to catch but thankfully so far has not been serious for most people.
So the government are playing the waiting game trying to work out if we have something that is like a mild cold or something more serious which will mean that they have to put the country into lockdown again. Not prepared to put money into businesses as they did in the past as presumably the magic money tree has wilted in the winter months.
In a time when no sensible person would want to be a politician we get the voice of reason from a scientist with integrity and common sense. “Choose your parties carefully” probably good advice at any time but especially now. So be sensible , stay at home if you are not well, wash your hands and do meet people that are important to you. The risks are small now if you have been vaccinated but don’t take a small risk for people that don’t matter to you . Someone that people trust and actually like. Maybe , sometimes there are better jobs than those in politics.
