Let’s face it , we would not have had a change in the post of health secretary yesterday if it had not been for the cctv footage being made common knowledge in the national press. Clearly a breach in national security and not something that can be excused by the claim of the national interest. Have no doubt , the resignation would have come, just later. Some people don’t seem to realise that if it is that easy for a National Newspaper to get hold of the footage, how much easier must it be for Soviet spys or those from the the far east to get hold of things that they should not be able to see.
Someone has broken the law and we need to ensure that things are tightened up so that it does not happen again. Others may well be in danger now because of these breaches.
