Matt Hancock takes centre stage on the front page of a national newspaper but not for a reason that I expect he will feel proud about .However I don’t expect to hear a resignation, the reason being probably that he doesn’t realise what he has done wrong.
We hope that our leaders will be making astute , rational decisions for the country and we trust them to look after the general good. So why is it that we discover that such a person does not realise that cctv will be used against him. I know that there are a lot of cctv cameras around but , seriously , there must be at least one room in the government buildings that you could put a coat over the camera. So to quote Eric , all animals are equal but some are more equal than others. That of course is a reference to what he did , not the lack of shrewdness and wisdom.
