Number Ten top tips for your Christmas Party from Peter Cronin.

It looks likely that Christmas will not be cancelled this year so I have been looking at the top ten tips for having a successful party.

1. Follow all the rules.
2. Do remember to provide hand sanitiser.
3. Invite the press, you want all the facts to be correct.
4. Have a sing song but do remember to wear your masks.
5. Invite the neighbours , obvs.
6. Don’t make it a formal party.
7. Encourage Christmas Jumpers.
8. Don’t forget the drinks and nibbles.
9. Do have party games , but make them appropriate for the number there. Some parties will have “pin the tail on the donkey” , for others “solitaire” will be more in keeping.
10. Do make a speech but preferably towards the end of the evening.
