We are living with the extra costs of brexit , something that is widely accepted even though we were told that it would help us financially , not the reverse. Yes we have the costs of covid to sort out and of course the financial war that Putin is waging against us. Thankfully for us we are not suffering from the attacks that Ukraine is facing. The USA is raising interest rates and we are impacted by that as well.
Surely that would be a time to consider the effect that any fiscal policy in the uk would have and whether an action would push things over the edge. A Chancellor a month for four months on the trot and there is still time for that run to go to five.
A massive swing to labour so the Conservatives would be like turkeys voting for Christmas if they called a general election before Christmas. There are some fairly astute political animals on the back benches and I think that we can expect some decisive action soon. What that action will be , that is a question ?
Terrible events in Iran , Afghanistan, China , Taiwan to name a few . I wonder if there has been a time in the world when there has been so much injustice and man’s inhumanity to man. Things can only get better. Let’s hope they do soon.
