Peter Cronin says , “they think it is all over, it is now ” . Not exactly original but after weeks of the good feel factor and all the hype that goes with it we should be really proud of the team and the thin controller. Hopefully we will go on to better things next year.
The team has shown that the way to succeed is to support people and there is no room for egos in life. Maybe if the attitude shown by the team was realised in the rest of society the world would be a better place.
Tough to go out on penalties but tv companies have schedules to run to so they won’t be going anywhere soon. Penalties are of course a mental challenge and these are always most difficult when you are physically exhausted. Let us hope that the players will get the support that they need.
