It will come around sooner than you think and when it does , how will you cope. Furloughing no longer after the end of September. Is it two years since you bought a suit and will you still fit in it? Don’t feel smug if you have more casual work clothes , very few people are allowed to work in pajamas for health and safety reasons.
Once you have tried on your work clothes , and I would not wait until the morning that you have to go in, what are your choices? No food and living at the gym for a month may be your solution but it is not the best on so many fronts. Telling the boss that you think that the dress code should be more casual may not actually be the big hit that you are hoping for . Will you be breathing in and hoping for the best? Good luck by lunchtime.
Maybe it is the clothes choice , dare you go and buy a whole set of clothes in a larger size or is that the ultimate defeat? Maybe you will be buying one of the new suits available with elasticated waist bands? Good luck with whatever your choice.
The good news is of course that you will be in a new environment, no necessity to eat cake all day and actually getting smart and walking to the front door should put a spring in your step. Change is often good , so take this one head on and make your life a better one.
