First Annual Review , Blog Seven Days by Peter Cronin.

One year down the line and it has been fun and I have learnt a lot. Consistently on page one of google and a steady build up of followers over the year.

It took me a while to get the padlock on the site , which makes things more professional and that is pretty much how it goes. Little things learned over the year which hopefully have a good cumulative effect.

One of the things that you really can’t predict is which posts are going to be popular. I liked the Jesmond Dene and Jesmond Old Cemetery ones but they had a short shelf life. The three month review and St Mary’s well have been in the top ten consistently since they dropped. The other ones seem to do well for a while and then drop off the edge of the world. The fuel crisis and the North South divide and Lindisfarne were both favorites of mine but not with the public.

I am quite sure that those of you that know about these things would tell me that they could have told me a year ago that , that would happen. A lot of people see the blog but don’t comment on it or give any feedback , but I guess that is pretty normal too. The obvious thing as well is that if there has been no new content for a while the hits are pretty consistent but if there are a few controversial ones that seems to do the trick.

Thanks for all your support over the year and if you do have any posts that you would like me to attempt , please let me know.
