So , general disappointment after England’s match against Ghana. Well , let us not take anything away from Ghana. They are not a bad team, they parked the bus and nearly stole the win from us . What would you rather have ? A draw and an excellent chance to progress in the World Cup or losing and giving us a lot more work to do.
It is all about small margins , if Harry Kane had been on target in the dying moments of the game, it would have been another fantastic win for England. So , it is all about getting through to the knock out stage and don’t forget , teams will not be parking the bus then!
It is still a learning process , so lessons will be learned by the coaching team but we can’t really expect to win every match easily. Hopefully , we will get a great result against Panama , and maybe we don’t want to finish top of the group anyway? It is all about the prize , so keep the faith and come on England.
