I am not sure what the cut off age is but I expect that quite a lot of you will be struggling to work out what this is. If you know please comment and put your age if you dare!
Well the first thing to say is that this is a working example, well I say that , but, in our post covid world I didn’t really want to touch anything or even open the door. If you had not guessed already it is a public phone box. That is another thing that I am not sure about. To be honest I thought that they disappeared years ago but they are there if you open your eyes. The idea of having to sanitise the door handle , handset and buttons before using it was a step too far for me. I was not too sure about entering into the confined space. I won’t tell you where this one is but I can say that it is unlikely that anyone in this neighbourhood would ever use one.

So I did find another working one that was not so claustrophobic. Not sure who would use this one because I would imagine that the largest age group in this area is probably 18-24.

Well the next one , broken , well I would say vandalised . So even though there is not much use for them there is no need to stop someone who might need it from being able to do so.

What on earth is going on here?

I don’t know if we still should have these things when everyone has a mobile as far as I know and they just seem to be targets for crime.

So maybe you will start to notice them in your neighbourhood. Let me know what you think of them and should they just be scrapped altogether.
