It is difficult to believe that only 14 days ago the devastating invasion of Ukraine started. Difficult to believe that in the global world that we now live in , where we all know people from all over the world , that something like this could happen.
The response from people throughout the world led by the Disasters Emergency Committee has been awesome. Rightly people are doing what they can to help the ones whose lives have been turned upside down.
President Zelensky has proved to be a fantastic leader who has no choice but to defend the European way of life.
Let us hope that the people of Russia will persuade their leader to bring his war machine home, to bring an end to the bloodshed of innocent people from Ukraine and the Russian forces.
