The lionesses smashed the World Cup and came very close to winning the competition. Everything went very well until the final but Spain are a very good side and on the day just managed to win the small margins.
My woman of the match was Mary Earps not just for saving a penalty but for everything that she did in the competition and if she had scored in the final minute of the match it would have been a different story. She is not the only superstar in the team so I see this as another success for the team that will run and run. It will not get any easier as the other teams get access to , well basically money , which is the thing that changes any sport in the world today.
So well done England , you were awesome !
