Southgate was correct when he said that it would be wrong to pick on individuals , basically nobody seemed to shine last night and some really did not turn up to the party. All very well to say that Hungary played well and they did , but if England are to be world beaters they have to be able to deal with teams like that.
Not really sure what Harry Kane was doing and starting with seven players from the same domestic team makes you wonder what is going on. Hopefully this was just one bad day at the office and they will come back fighting. Just another four points needed and it is assumed that they will get that without trying too hard. Maybe that was the downfall last night.
